  2. They chose to leave. They could have stayed and helped in the fight. Imagine if during WWII, British people had decided to leave for somewhere not at war. Now the UK taxpayer is paying for their extended holiday.

  15.  @shortscenes9338  Yep. It's even worse there. Just look at the recent riots. The percentage of migrants has now reached the level, when they can throw their weight around, and cause real destruction. Although rioting is probably something they learnt from the French themselves.
