@mildredchapman3994 Your god doesn't exist. That's why we have hospitals.
14
@hurschidyemecki119 It doesn't really matter, as there's only a 10% difference in lung size. The remaining lung also expands to fill some of the remaining space. A person with one lung can expect to have at least 70 percent of their previous respiratory function. This is a perfectly adequate amount for normal living. Life expectancy shouldn't be impacted either.

Miracles don't happen, but medicine does.
7
@ThrdWrldGrl When did you last see god pouring concrete to build a hospital?
4
Prayers?
4
@hatarismom Forget useless prayers. Try medical treatment instead.
4
@denise9447 God?
3
@ericbitzer5247 Prove angels are real. What evidence do you have, that we can experience without the use of drugs?
3
@bryant475 That's not going to cure late stage cancer.
3
@zawaprz I write "god" the way it deserves to be. Without any reverence. I have nothing to be thankful for from some imaginary being. If you can prove your god exists, then bring it on. Otherwise, what are you wasting your and my time for?
3
@audreystone4060 Does it matter which lung?
2
@joannataylor9118 Prayers are useless. Next you'll be saying that angels are real.
2
@johnrambo1349 Are you a Doctor? Everybody's an individual. OK, the later the stage, the poorer the prognosis. However some people live a long time even so. Also, new trials are being done all the time. Of course, praying is a waste of time. It's humans who'll find successful treatment for cancers. Put your faith in them.
2
@edvin109 Your god doesn't protect the over three million innocent children that die of hunger every year. Children that will never grow to have kids of their own. What other lunatic beliefs do you share?
2
Prayers?
2
You're in healthcare, and yet you pray. Why?
2
@kelseyhudson It's a myth and conspiracy theory that who got the jab, are developing fast-growing cancers. There is no evidence to support this.
2
@janaschindel1145 Prayers are useless.
2
Thank medicine, not your god.
2
@jeffdarnell7942 Who's illness?
1
@nordiclivingfinland All thanks to medicine made by humans. No god needed.
1
@lashaneparidze8302 You don't get it do you? Your useless god doesn't exist.
1
@ericbitzer5247 So you expect others to just take your word for it, do you? That's not how truth works. I'm also not frightened of your imaginary man in the sky, either.
1
@KimSmith-b9v WOW what?
1
@ericbitzer5247 Of course you don't.
1
@onion6foot Yes, but why are you asking that question? Maybe, you can look through one hundred replies to tell me?
1
@onion6foot I can't remember, a its been eleven months. I don't think it matters which lung.
1
@thomaslally9136 Burzynski is a quack and a very expensive one.
1
@onion6foot I capitulated and went through the replies. Somebody was asking which lung the OP's step mother had removed. I replied that "did it matter?".
1
@VIKAGari SCLC is very strongly associated with tobacco smoking. Did your mother smoke?
1
@benjaminphilpot4262 Prayers?
1
@dabneyoffermein595 Prayers are a waste of time.
1
ParadiseSinlessLife Your satan doesn't exist. Unless you can prover otherwise?
1
@melaniedunn2791 If prayers work, why bother with hospitals?
1
@melaniedunn2791 We're talking about serious illness here. No god is going to help. Wasn't your god supposed to be hands off anyway? You can't have it both ways.
1
@kathie6585 God?
1
@neelytaylor4594 Pray all you like. However, it's not going to cure anyone. It's just that some people say they will pray for someone. As though, it might heal them. Wouldn't it be wrong to say that it did? I suppose you're in a good position to see people going to heaven, or the soul leaving the body. If such a thing existed. Have you seen any evidence that there's anything beyond this life And if you have, where could that place be? People have all sorts of ideas of what life after death could be. The problem is that there is no evidence to inform us. Hindus and Buddhists, are over 1.5 billion people, don't believe in a heaven, or afterlife at all. For them, you are simply reborn as another living being.
1
@sunnydaygina Praise your god for what?
1
@lakemiwater Jebus. Who he?
1
@sunnydaygina Miracles don't happen. Unless you can prove otherwise? Any extra years were due to medical treatment. It's medical science which is helping people, NOT some imaginary god. Or do you want to go back a couple of centuries? When there was only prayer, and people died in their millions of diseases, which nobody even gets sick from today. Put your faith in doctors. They are the only one's who can make sick people well.
1
God does nothing. Medicine does.
1
@markpallister9882 There is no god. Unless you can be the first person in history, to prove there is. Do you believe in Santa Claus too. Modern medicine is the result of decades of hard work by scientists. Nobody working in a laboratory, ever thought of your god for one second. What would be the point of that. A couple of centuries ago, when prayer was all there was. People died in their millions, from diseases, which now kill nobody. All due to modern medicine created by humans. Most religious people are hypocrites. They pray, asking their god to heal them. However, at the same time going to their doctors. Maybe, they should make up their minds. Prayer or modern medicine?
1
Broken keyboard?
1
@teresarenee3829 And what's your alternative, Doctor?
1
@hatarismom Prayers are useless. It's been proved so in controlled studies. If prayer can heal. Do you go to the doctor when you're ill? If you do, then you're a hypocrite.
1
@janaschindel1145 Believe in what exactly. Do you even know? Hindus don't believe in your heaven. They believe in reincarnation, as do Buddhists. Are 1.1 billion Hindus and 500 million Buddhists wrong, and yet you are right?
1
@diamond13130 Just how naive are you? Miracles don't exist, so why would I ever expect one. Your supposed god doesn't exist. If he/she/it did, then why would we need hospitals. We'd just do a quick prayer, and we'd be cured, right? Where's the first place you go when you're ill. I bet it's to see a doctor? I doubt if you expect prayer, or a miracle to cure you. All we can do is hope that medicine will find a cure to any disease, whatever it may be. Pretending prayers are useful, yet seeking medical help, is nothing more than hypocrisy at it's finest.

Your god blesses no one.
