  9. It was Indians who demanded that India be divided into three parts. How is it the fault of the British that you could not live in peace, but killed each other? The fact that Indians had the word loot, shows that things were being stolen there, long before the British came to India.

"They where more prosperous and more wealthy than The mother County or Europe." No they weren't. Britain had the largest economy in the World, during the Victorian period. and was only surpassed by the USA around 1900.

Britain was invaded by the Romans, Saxons, Danes, Vikings and Normans. Should Britain get reparations too? And as for the British being "animals". They were the ones who ended the global slave trade.   41.  @riiraa881 The Europeans and don't forget the Arabs, didn't need guns. Slaves were captured and sold by other Africans. The traders stayed in ports, as the life expectancy for a non-African in the interior was just a few months. The slaves were brought to them by Africans, who had taken them from another tribe. Is it really that difficult to understand?

  42.  @faithgurl08  Benefitted rom what? It was Africans who sold other Africans to Arabs and Europeans. The Arabs took slaves from East Africa and the Europeans from West Africa. African tribes were always in conflict, just like other cultures. Any African taken prisoner, who be taken to the coast and traded for money, goods or weapons. The Europeans stayed on the coast and let slaves be brought to them. A European would be dead from disease in a few weeks, if they went inland. Slavery was practised by all cultures, ever since humans evolved. It was the British who formed the West Africa Squadron and spent the equivalent of one trillion dollars and the loss of many lives to end the global trade in people as property. And they did it not for wealth, but because the British believed it was immoral. Why are you so ignorant of your own history?

  48. No. Humans are the problems. There will be conflict, even without empires. Empires brought peace and stability, if nothing else. However, the British Empire gave as well as it took. Not like the Spanish and Portuguese Empires which just took. That's why those empires collapsed so early. When they had taken everything from their colonies, they had nothing to give in return. The British were able to give the fruits of it's Industrial revolution to the world and offer finished goods in exchange for raw materials.
