@irbaboon1979 Probably, but the Muricans are already lumbered with their version of "football". A more frustrating game you couldn't find, with its incomprehensible rules, and its never-ending starting and stopping. As long as it stays away from me, I'm happy.

@markjones127 Rubbish. The British influence over America is still vast. Snooker has only been around for a century and a half, and just didn't get to the US.

@ajmiddy1248 Or cricket for that matter. Only the Muricans could make a game like American "football". Where the TV commercials are more important than the game. A sport which no other country in the World, has the slightest bit of interest in. Never mind actually wanting to play. A game where a few seconds of undecipherable action, is then followed by minutes of not very much. At least real football, and Rugby were designed to flow, and avoid as many (TV commercials), as possible.

@markjones127 Of course a top pool player will beat a top snooker player at pool. However, a top snooker player, playing a top pool player, at snooker. The pool player would be totally annihilated.

@paulmilner8452 There's 8 billion people now on the planet, and the amount interested in American Football, is miniscule. If you're referring to the Premier League. O f course, the revenue is less than that of AF in the US. Real Football is the richest sport in the world with a Net Worth of around $600 Billion as of 2024. The sport is played by around 250 million people, throughout 200 nations around the world. According to recent estimates, NFL or American Football is worth almost $200 billion and currently ranked at 2nd in this list.

@finbarrsaunders Yes, but Muricans use some ridiculous names for ordinary items.
