@anthonygrayson7753 And you're probably serious, aren't you?

@rocketsurgeon2135 Obviously you have no clue as to how referendums work.
1
Yeah. Democracy sucks, doesn't it.
1
@ElectronTinkerer Do you think the results of referenda should be respected or not?
1
@ElectronTinkerer "I think the whole thing was a stupid idea." What. The EU?
1
It makes you wonder how the UK survived before 1972. Or maybe, it never traded with anyone before that date?
1
You still watch the BBC?
1
Yeah. The sooner that wall is re-built, the better. The Romans were obviously onto something, the first time around!
1
Constant appearances? Less than twice a year, even at the height of Brexit.
1
@Borderman47 Who watches live TV these days anyway?
1
@mattsyson3980 What are you going to do when France leaves also?
1
Yeah. We all know how the BBC were pro-Brexit. Don't we?
1
Yes. What ever did the UK do before 1972? Being British before that date, must have been like living in the Stone Age!
1
@SuperLittleTyke Only if you can still be bothered to watch terrestrial TV.
1
@SuperLittleTyke Err. No. You couldn't me more wrong. You can have have many TV's as you like. You only have to pay the licence fee, if you watch a live TV or watch iPlayer. Why did you think otherwise?
1
@SuperLittleTyke Nope. YT is a perfectly adequate source of entertainment and information, combined with news websites. If you want to pay for the privilege of watching the propaganda pumped out by the legacy media every day. Then that's up to you. However, just to repeat. You DO NOT need a TV licence, if you DO NOT watch live terrestrial TV, or a catch up service, such as iPlayer. YT is full of videos explaining the rules. Maybe you should watch some? Search on YT for "do I need a tv licence".
1
@SuperLittleTyke Old news? Many TV stations from around the world have live streaming news channels on YT or the internet. Even the BBC has regular updates on YT of the major breaking stories on their YT BBC news channel. The tag on their YT channel is "The latest international news from the BBC World newsroom.". Why are you so protective of the BBC? Do you work for them or something? The current funding model is outdated and needs reform. Most countries fund their TV through advertising. Even the BBC generate £3 billion a year, selling their programmes abroad, using their privately owned arm, BBC Studios. If you DO NOT watch live terrestrial TV, you do not need to pay for it. If you didn't shop at a certain supermarket, would you expect a bill from them every month? Of course you wouldn't. You only pay at the place you use. Also, TV licencing is a private company whose employees work on a commission basis. So it's in their interest to try and extort as much as they can. Often they bully people into thinking they need a licence, when they don't. The BBC even removed the exemption for those over the age of 75. This is because they know that watching TV, is the only comfort these people have. So they are an easy target for revenue. If you want to pay for the protectors of Jimmy Savile and his pals, then that's up to you.
1
"i'm sorry you have left us in the EU". What's the problem? If they want, Germany can leave too.
1
@rocketsurgeon2135 Isn't Germany THE EU? Without it propping up the rest of the EU. Especially the basket case Southern countries. There would no longer be an EU for Germany to be in charge of.
1
"Our fuel bill from £96 a month has gone up to £236 a month." Yeah. Brexit killed the Loch Ness monster too.
1
Yes. How dare the British people vote to leave the EU! Maybe its time to suspend democracy once and for all?
1
How about stopping the working class from voting in elections. Do you think that would improve things?
1
@robertharrison1058 Too right. Jeremy Corbyn should have become PM, with Diane Abbott as his Chancellor.
1
"an active member of the extreme right wing". Wow! You learn something new every day.
1
Maybe it would have been better if old people had been banned from voting in the Brexit referendum? After all, weren't they past their usefulness anyway. What do you think the cut off age should have been?
1
@richardcory5024 Don't worry. The SNP are doing their best on removing a lower age limit for voting.
1
@Russ_Keith But if you can believe it. The "dying off" argument, is one regularly put forward by remainers. According to them, if you're old, you're past your sell by date, and should quietly fade away into obscurity.
1
@Al 77 A well considered comment. “Any man under 30 who is not a liberal has no heart, and any man over thirty who is not a conservative has no brains.” ― Winston S. Churchill.
