@blurtling I can understand the confusion. No it has never been stated as the most likely culprit. It has been acknowledged that a lab leak is a possibility but there is no evidence of that. There is evidence is came from the market. If evidence it was leaked from a lab is discovered then we will hear about it.

@deadgolfer6345 Is it because you think everyone prefers to accept a theory that has no evidence? There may be a possibility it came from a lab, but we have no evidence to back up the theory. Only thing we know for a fact in this regard is that it was not created in a lab.

Hell even the lab leak theory would make it a natural occuring virus that they may have been studying. The main fact is it was not created in a lab.
