  2.  Richard Page  I want you to consider something. If you truly think about it do you think ALL liberals think the same? Can you even consider that there may be liberals who like guns? Or that there are liberals who have a range of feelings about different issues? This is what propaganda does. It vilifies opposition voices. You have a cartoon vision of what a liberal is. Just as many people have a cartoon vision of conservatives. We are all people trying to live our lives the best we can. If we allow ourselves to be manipulated by those in power we can never enact laws that will make life better for all of us.

This is done so that any program put forth that will benefit the people will have a negative connotation in your mind. Social programs are designed to benefit the people. Socialists believe that it is the governments responsibility to provide for the welfare of it's people. Then you get into different forms of socialism etc.. However, all functioning governments have some form of social network in order to be successful. socialists promote those policies.
