It takes a certain personality to want to be a cop. That is why it is important to keep them on a short leash. Unfortunately propaganda has made many Americans think they are heroes and can do no wrong.

@SuperNhodge Nah. It takes a certain type of personality to want to have control over others. The new cops who start with the idea they are going to help the public are quickly perverted or their conscious eats at them and they quit. That is true, but they still start with the desire to control others. The ones who do best are those with a chip on their shoulders who want to take out their anger on everyone else. If your goal is to serve the public and help others you become a fireman not a cop.
