  3.  @danwillreview  What about the optics of it? We used to make fun of Banana Republics for things like this. How far has a country sunk when everywhere you go there are heavily armed guards? Does not bode well for the tourist industry does it?

  5. @Stuck ‘n’ Stoned Yes. We just need to secure all buildings and public venues. Although it would probably be even better if everyone wore a full body armor suit. Maybe similar to the old suits of armor only made of Kevlar. That way everyone can carry guns and shoot them at each other all they like no harm done.

  6.  @markcooper9063  I agree we need a national health care system. As it is we not only can't address mental health issues we are also not prepared for any future pandemic.
