  1. I know it will piss you off but there is a big difference between Marxist socialism like they have in Venezuela and Democratic socialism like they have in Norway. Democratic socialism is more in line with what we had under FDR.

  2. Jamie What someone calls themselves and what they really are is my point. It's not the words its the actions that matter. The USA calls ourselves a Democracy, but what we really are is an oligarchy. It's obvious who the politicians are and who they answer too and it's not the average American they answer too.

  3. Of course I will admit that officially Norway is a democracy with a socialist left party. Of course officially Venezuela is a democracy. Even North Korea call themselves the Democratic peoples republic of Korea. Point is a dictatorship can exist under virtually any form of government. Calling oneself a Democracy doesn't automatically fix societies ills

  4. Really? That is interesting since he called himself a Marxist. Maybe you should look it up. Check out any source that gives his biography. Is your argument that there is no difference between socialism as practiced in Norway and Venezuela?
