  3. ifonlyicouldstop you are guessing what his salary is. You are assuming he does not have a lot of debt. For all we know this guy does what most Americans do and lives to the limit of his salary. For all we know this guy has ten kids. The one thing for sure is that tens of thousands of people are not getting paychecks due to this shutdown and it is causing them intense hardships. If this person depends on his paycheck to pay his mortgage and bills and the checks aren't coming in then he is in trouble.
