  3. Had no reason to oppose Russia until they invaded Ukraine. So not a question of the West lacking courage. Besides if NATO forces just attacked Russia preemptively then we would be the bad guys.

  4.  @leecrumble3921  NO, but can thank their allies for support that is allowing this to end sooner and with less bloodshed. Without US support this would have dragged on for many years as a guerilla war. Ukraine never had any intention of surrendering.
