Now thanks to him every homeowner has to go up against the power of the insurers if they decide not to payoff or severely underestimate the value of the home lost entirely out of our own pockets. I'm sure it will be fine though because we all know that insurance companies would never deny claims unfairly.

  5. Love you Bernie, but I imagine that as an independent contractor I will be expected to fill out countless complicated invasive forms in order to maybe get a check in 4 months. Meanwhile they foreclose on my home and use the 4.25 trillion dollars they are handing over to the Fed to give low interest loans to whatever companies Mnuchin deems fit will be used to buy up our lost homes for pennies on the dollar.

All the Dems had to do was appoint one senator to the floor and they would have had to call for a vote of 51 on each and every candidate. They all had to agree to go on vacation or they could not fast pass the appointees. I love Bernie but this is a disgrace.

  23. First last tell this kid my story. I had to go to an emergency room a few years ago. Part of my bills in the first hours were 2 MRI's at $6,000 each and that was only a small portion of it. $10,000 won't get you one night in a hospital or an emergency room. If he had a serious bill the costs could be in the millions. He needs a lot more 0's under his mattress.

  27. @ discorperted I tried to look at your links. first one goes to nothing second is bs about what to do with failing solar panels after 30 years. You can make same argument about anything. How about cell phones? plastic water bottles... I will say this about recycling solar panels just for fun. silicon solar modules are primarily composed of glass, plastic and aluminum. 3 materials that are recycled in mass quantities. In addition look at how much solar panels efficiency has improved over the last 30 years. The solar cells available in 30 years will be far smaller and more efficient than they are today. Luckily for us those who are interested in green energy bother to learn facts and don't just spew bs they pick up on right wing websites.

  45. Hewlett Yes I understand that. It is why I am dumbfounded by this action, or lack thereof. They are fastracking 15 Federal judges without any discussion. One of the judges Charles Goodwin was rated "not qualified" to be a judge by the American Bar Association. The Democrats could have put up a fight and forced a delay until after the midterms, however they chose not to put up a fight at all. These appointees will change the face of the judicial branch for generations and not one Democratic Senator could be bothered to stay on the floor and put up a fight.
