Bernie I don't understand. What has happened to you?!?! You did not stand up to Trump's fed judge appointees? How could you go along with this? Not even one Senator stood up and refused to fast pass his appointees. For god's sake explain this please. Now 1 in 7 Federal judges are appointed by Trump. These are life time positions. I can understand Schumer, what does he care he wants to get on with his vacation, but I expect more from you and Warren. Very disappointed.

Don P That is where you are wrong. One can block appointment. All the Dems had to do was appoint one senator to the floor and they would have had to call for a vote of 51 on each and every candidate. They all had to agree to go on vacation or they could not fast pass the appointees. I love Bernie but this is a disgrace.

Is that how we dismiss people now? Call them trolls? Am I also Russian? COme on man I am also pro Bernie I just don't understand why he did not stand up to this. I voted for him and will again. I am just confused by this because it seems so out of character for him.

Hewlett Yes I understand that. It is why I am dumbfounded by this action, or lack thereof. They are fastracking 15 Federal judges without any discussion. One of the judges Charles Goodwin was rated "not qualified" to be a judge by the American Bar Association. The Democrats could have put up a fight and forced a delay until after the midterms, however they chose not to put up a fight at all. These appointees will change the face of the judicial branch for generations and not one Democratic Senator could be bothered to stay on the floor and put up a fight.
