House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who has opposed that policy from the start, took to Twitter to criticize the expansion, calling it an “un-American travel ban.” Now, two months later, a video that’s been viewed more than 2 million times on Facebook and YouTube falsely claims that her tweet was about Trump’s decision on the same day to restrict travelers coming from China in an effort to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus. These are two distinct and unrelated actions that were each taken on Jan. 31. Pelosi’s tweet wasn’t about the restrictions imposed because of the coronavirus.

  8. The US needs to make having the Corona virus illegal. It would incentivize the government to identify them for the property seizures. In addition the infected would get the care they need through the penal system.

Would they be brave or foolish to go into restaurants and movie theatres now? So unless it is your intention to force people into public places things will not get better until they feel safe.

  24. It's the same in US and most of the world. Problem is we outsource everything. 90% of antibiotics and 80% of all medicine is coming from China. In US and likely Sweden we don't manufacture essential items and that is why we don't have the resources we need.

  29. Don't worry, here in the United States we have a way to prevent hospital overcrowding. We reject anyone without insurance and prioritize those with the best coverage. In addition, soon the president will call an end to testing and it's problem solved.

  44. Many reasons yoiu can not trust the count from the United States. The only thing you can be sure of it is much worse than you think. I'm in Florida and have the virus and it's madness here. We are told not to get tested unless you can prove contact otherwise the test is $600. CDC is telling us that unless you are unable to breath or your lips are turning blue to stay home.

  48.  @annoyedaussie3942  Thank you. No I'm not having chest pain. It's still early so fingers crossed. I did not expect the muscle pain to be like this. It's not the kind of muscle cramps you get from the flu. The only way I can describe it is if you have ever pulled a hamstring. It's that kind of pain, but in your neck, spine, lower back and legs. It's impossible to lie down because it hurts like hell so I have to try and sleep sitting up. When sitting up it's not so bad, but as soon as I lie prone or make the mistake of rolling onto my side it hurts like hell.
