@minnamandariini4843 I'm guessing you are talking about circumcision? Legal in the states and it's based on conservative religious beliefs. However, yes a progressive would not feel it correct to ban such a procedure either feeling it is between patient and doctor.

@minnamandariini4843 You seem like a sincere and decent person. Isn't it interesting how people can come to define things in completely different ways? For example to me what you see as extreme progressive amd woke I see as conservative theology. In other words those laws are based on religious doctrine and only exist due to conservatives wishing to implant religious doctrine into law.

@minnamandariini4843 Perhaps. My feeling is we should not be passing laws to control the behavior of others. I'm not quite sure what you are calling genital mutilation. I will agree with you that Religion has no place in government though.
