@daleboylen6427 Maybe people forget we were a blue state for most of our existence and our greatest Governor was Lawton Chiles a Democrat. Florida was historically a progressive business friendly state which is what brought Disney here in the first place. Even though we had Republican governors in the past they were nothing like this dystopian fuhrer figure we have in the governorship currently. There is hope for Florida as the Villages die off. All we really need to do is have the Democrats run someone other than Charlie Crist and Val Demings.

Lived in Florida all my life and to be honest other than the weather I don't know why people move here. Now that the weather has gotten so much worse I'm not sure I get that either.

@GazB85 I understand why it feels that way, but we were a blue state not so long ago and if not for a screw up by Hillary Clinton we would have elected Andrew Gillum instead of DeSantis. Lived in Florida all my life and it feels to me as though we have been taken hostage.
