@mohamedali2858 So you consider a victimless crime like smoking pot the same as murdering another human being?

@mohamedali2858 I see. So do you think we should make sugar illegal? How about Caffeine? Alcohol? I mean we made the mistake of not making them illegal maybe that is why we have so much crime? How about you just admit that comparing legalizing a plant is not the same as legalizing murder.

@mohamedali2858 You make a statement comparing a weed to murder and you think I am illogical? Why don't you take your argument to god? He made it.

@John Doe Define worked. Worked in what way?

@xavierzacheriah6038 You are a funny troll. Arguing both sides of a subject in the same thread with two different people. lay off the booze.

@John Doe So i'm guessing you don't think Nordic countries are working well? They have a higher standard of living than we do.

@xavierzacheriah6038 In 2019, an estimated 1.5 million deaths were directly caused by diabetes. Another 2.2 million deaths were attributable to high blood glucose in 2012. Obesity has reached epidemic proportions globally, with at least 2.8 million people dying each year as a result of being overweight or obese. Sugar

@xavierzacheriah6038 Oh by the way sugar is highly addictive and kills a shitload of people every year. How many have died from smoking pot?

@xavierzacheriah6038 Oh and my last on the subject is to point out your blatant hypocrisy. "So just because we accept some forms of evil based on the way things are right now, does that mean we should accept other forms of evil as well?" Marijuana was legal until the 1930's. Alcohol was legal, became illegal and then made legal again. Why did they make alcohol legal again? Oh because when they made it illegal it increased alcohol abuse and created a massive criminal system for it's sale and distribution and wound up costing tax payers lives and millions of dollars. We already know from countries that have done it that making drugs legal actually lowers drug abuse.

@John Doe aka social democrats or Democratic socialists. I am proud of you that you understand there are many forms of socialism and that they are not all Marxist. On that positive note go have a nice day.

@John Doe Democratic socialism describes a socialist economy where production and wealth are collectively owned, but the country has a democratic system of government. The goal of democratic socialism is to achieve socialist goals of equality while opposing socialist ideologies. Democratic socialism is opposed to the Soviet economic model, command economies, and authoritarian governance

@John Doe Scandinavia and the Nordic countries can be best described as social democracies. Effectively, they’re democratic countries in which its citizens are well cared for. Some refer to this as democratic socialism. Some economists refer to it as cuddly capitalism, contrasting with what is seen as cut-throat capitalism in other Western countries.
