Nothing changes the fact that during the worse times in our history they have chosen to dump massive amounts into a bloated military while ignoring the suffering of Americans. We spend more than the next ten nations combined all with the idea that if we go to war with China we want to blow up the world fastest. No one is surviving WW3 and we should start thinking of other ways to avoid it than bigger and more numerous nukes.

  7. @westbender 820 As someone who worked in the defense industry I can assure you that you are very wrong. The amount of waste by defense contractors is unbelievable. What do you mean China try anything? Do you mean attack us? Cause if they did it's WW3 and the end of the world anyway. Destroying the lives of your nation's citizens in order to prepare for the end of the world is insane. While we are throwing all our money into bombs the Chinese are continuing to progress. Like it or not that is the way it is.

Both parties answer to the oligarchs not the other way around. However, thinking all billionaires come from silicon valley is silly. Never heard of oil tycoons? How about the Koch brothers? Remember them? Maybe you have heard of Rupert Murdoch? If silicon valley millionaires were leftist Nancy Pelosi would not be speaker of the house.
