More likely to be beside it not on top of it. Besides would it really matter at this point? Any remains will already be hard to identify as human.

No one is alive at this point and it would be no better to let the hurricane bring it down.

It's less a question of quality as it is lack of regulation. Florida is run by conservatives so requiring inspections and repairs are low on the list because it impacts profit. Wait till one of the new apartment buildings springing up everywhere catches fire. Very lax regulations allow them to build them of spruce wood with no firewalls.

There are no survivors. We have no basements and the weight of the floors smashed everything under them literally flat as a pancake. Now the only goal is to retrieve remains.

@darkdan3379 add to that profit comes before safety and since there is no regulation to force repairs it just gets put off.

There is no surviving that. The weight of the falling floors smashed everything under them. We don't have basements in Florida so there is no chance someone might be trapped in an open space.

@KnarfStein Even less with limited oxygen and 100+ heat.

The climate was much different back then. They just did not count on the rising ocean level causing salt water intrusion. Many garage areas in South Florida are flooded now and they were not 40 years ago. Besides most likely the architect died a long time ago.

@michaelero6119 what do you mean?

The problem is deregulation allows for lax building standards and sub par inspection. It would not surprise me to find Miami has 2 or three inspectors for the entire city.

@Mandy_39 You expect conspiracy theorists to apply logic to their theory? You: why would someone do this on purpose? Theorist: Uh because uh
