Mitch Kelly No. My grandparents, father, brothers all served I worked in defence and taught martial arts. My brother served in Nam and told me stories of boot camp that blew me away.

@drink15 I understand you would like to see them comfortable. This is nice and I am sure they appreciate that. However, that is not the life of a person of discipline and soldiers have to have discipline. That can entail sleeping on a concrete floor and taking it in stride. Only thing I can tell you about it is that it would be very strange to give them cots and for some of them downright insulting. A soldier takes pride in tolerating such things.

@IMGreg.. Trust me the "patriots" are crapping their pants right now. They did not expect to face an actual show of force. My guess at worse is a small group of lunatics will show up to sacrifice themselves.

They are soldiers they are not supposed to be comfortable they are supposed to be alert.

@drink15 Trust me they will sleep just fine. Someday they may have to face far worse so a few days discomfort will only prepare them. Trust me it beats the hell out of a 20 mile hike. Imagine what vets in WW1 went through. They would dream of duty ike this.
