  2. I'm around the same age as that lady and it was a lot cheaper to go to school then. No, adjusting for inflation does not make up for it. College is insanely expensive now if my son does not get a scholarship there is no way I can afford it. Our only other alternative is for him to go to a civilized country like Germany to complete his education.
