  2. if not for the so called “fossil fuels” we would still be living like in the 1600’s. Petroleum (including fertilizers, energy, chemicals) have done more to enable progress and raise living standards all over the world than any other innovation. There is only 400 ppm CO2 in the atmosphere which is close to the minimum for plant life. Office environments routinely exceed 1,000 ppm.
