  1. None of these problems would have been serious except that the power of government was harnessed by the wealthy to keep everything under their thumb. If instead free market capitalism had prevailed the best and brightest would have gone to the top rather than just the insiders. The same situation is occurring in the U.S. today with those elites with the best connections to the “too big to fail banks” and the fiat banking cartel debt monetization (Black Rock with their 2 trillion dollar grants) are gaining massively at everyone else’s expense.
