Heart attacks were rare in the U.S. until the advent of the low fate high carb diet especially with the introduction of seed (vegetable oils). Red meat and saturated Fata were never a problem. Meat consumption in this country is at an all time low while low nutrient plant and “whole grain” junk has been followed for years. Look at the result. Record levels of heart attacks, strokes, diabetes and cancer. Want to be healthy. Eat a diet rich in saturated fats, high quality protein and no veritable oils. Fruits are low in nutrients and mainly just raise thevbloos sugar requiring more insulin.

The U.S. has been on the low fat, low protein, high plant whole grain diet now for over 40 years. If this diet was working as the doctor claims we would have seen an improvement in cardiovascular disease, cancer and diabetes long ago. Yet all of these diseases are of epidemic proportions. Get off of seed (vegetable) oils first. Drastically cut carbs, especially whole grains and eat a diet high in saturated fats and high quality protein. Plants have always been for the poor and malnourished.

Your body is not at room temperature (unless your dead). The doctor fails to mention this fact. In the early 1900’s there was almost no myocardial infarctions. What did people eat. a high saturated, high protein diet.

All you are doing is eating a low nutrient, high carb diet, much of which is not even digested.

@Lulu-kt6gr Recommend you check out professor Ben Bikman, Dr. Tim Noakes, Dr. Paul Mason and engineer Ivor Cummins. In 1921 Dr. Dudley White brought back the first EKG machine from Germany. Fellow doctors at Harvard laughed at him because heart disease was so rare. Same with diabetes and cancer. Life expectancy appeared to be lower because of higher childhood mortality. As an example the first 4 presidents of the U.S. died at 67, 90, 83 and 85. Washington would probably have lived many more years if not killed by his doctors.
