We don’t have freedom of speech on YouTube or other social media, even though our tax money was used to develop the technology for this platform. If your opinion does not serve the official narrative then it is not debated but deleted.

@bryphi77 It is easy to compare Washington to the standards of today. However of the 318 slaves on his plantation, most of which were too young or too old to do much effective work, everyone was taken care of. The “free” factory workers of the north on the other hand were only one injury or illness from being thrown to the curb. When Lee’s army of Northern Virginia was forced by circumstances to advance into Pennsylvania, Lee had large numbers of negro slaves in his army. Most did not fight but many did. As his army traveled through northern towns (they did not burn, rape and pillage like the north) these blacks were sometimes asked why they did not run off. They replied that they were better off where they were than in the north. You can see replicas of some of these colored troops on reliefs at the Gettysburg Memorial (land stolen from Lee’s family).
