Italy suffered more than most countries in the first wave of this disease. More than 128k have known to have died from Covid-19 in Italy but studies of excess deaths indicate that the number is most likely considerably higher. 2020 saw the highest death toll in Italy since ww2. It is no surprise that the Italians wish to take basic precautions to protect themselves from the ravages of this disease and reopen their country safely and effectively.

If you are referring to the filming of Armstrong 's first steps on the lunar surface then the TV camera was mounted on the Descent Stage of the Lunar Module and pointed it at the steps. This Westinghouse camera was stored for flight in the lunar module’s Modular Equipment Stowage Assembly (MESA), a compartment near the ladder that Armstrong climbed down to reach the Moon’s surface. To activate the camera, he pulled on a handle that in turn released the door to the MESA. The signal was broadcast to Earth where the recording took place. Take care.

Sime you are totally correct. However the 4.2 million deaths are just those that are officially reported. Studies of excess deaths (over and above the average of previous 5 years) in India, Brazil and Italy are showing that the real Covid-19 death toll is significantly higher in those countries. For example, the official death toll in India is 445k but the number of excess death over the same period is about 4 million. Poor reporting structures and overwhelmed health systems contributed to this underreporting.

@stiwy7376 No it is most certainly true. Most anti-vax conspiracy theorists are also flat earth conspiracy theorists. It is very rare for a person to just believe in a single conspiracy theory.

@cristitanase6130 Yes Cristi, you are totally correct, "The anti-vax" are "conspiracy theorists" as they are capable of believing made up nonsense without the slightest bit of supporting evidence. They are also very adept at misrepresenting information and situations. An example of this would be someone who suggests that because a virus can mutate many times then that this means that a separate vaccine would be needed for "all their mutations". Another good example of the ignorance and callousness of your typical anti-vaxer is to suggest that somehow unvaccinated "natural immunity" can protect against Covid-19 illness while totally disregarding that millions of deaths have proved otherwise. Also, please stop referring to the disease of Covid-19 as "this flu", it is not, they are separate diseases.

@cristitanase6130 Hi again Cristi. That is a silly statement, no one has suggested that just because a person is vaccinated then they are "immune" to infection. Vaccines have reduced Covid-19 infections considerably but no vaccine is 100% effective.

(1) No one has ever claimed that a vaccinated person is totally immune to developing the disease Covid-19, however all the evidence is showing that the vaccines are very effective in preventing the disease. (2) "these shots are not vaccines", again more nonsense showing a lack of basic biology. The various vaccines for Covid-19 all promote the development of antibodies and other immune responses so yes, they are vaccines. (3) yes the vaccines have undergone all trials and have been found to be safe. All you are doing is repeating the standard conspiracy theory nonsense. Why do you ask so many questions as if in a rhetorical fashion but never listen to the answers?
