It is estimated that there are about half a million people in the UK that have severely weakened immune systems and this cohort are at much higher risk of developing serious illness from Covid-19. Studies show that many in this cohort do not produce a sufficient immune response after two doses of vaccine but a number of recent small scale studies cited by the CDC in the US show that in vaccinated patients who had no detectable antibody response "up to 50%" developed an antibody response after receiving an additional dose of an mRNA vaccine. In short, they will have better protection. Your stated opinion was that "nobody under the age of 100 should get the vaccine" and I honestly do not think that that is an evidence based opinion. That is why I disagree with it. Take care.

  7. Yes, this has been doing the rounds in various forms, various numbers and from various people. In some versions it is a doctor that claims this, others have it as a politician and yet others say it is a midwife. As you can imagine, it is more conspiracy theory lies and misinformation. There is no basis whatsoever to this claim and there is plenty of research evidence which shows it as a lie. The sad reality is that there is also plenty of evidence from several countries that shows that the risk of stillbirth is twice average and risk of death is up to 5 times greater for pregnant women who get infected by the SARS-Cov-2 virus, So in reality the people who are spreading this misinformation may well be actively contributing to Covid-19 deaths.

Just to let you know that there have been quite a few studies into any effectiveness of Ivermectin as a treatment from Covid-19 and the bulk of the research shows that it is no evidence to support the use of ivermectin for treating or preventing COVID‐19 infection. I can list a few of these studies if you wish. Take care.

You are a person who stars with an opinion and then searches and accepts only evidence that you think confirms this opinion while totally ignoring the vast amount of evidence that proves you wrong. This is known as "confirmation bias" or "cherry-picking" in everyday language. However I prefer to call it intellectual dishonesty. I have encountered many reality deniers who display this pattern of behaviour and some actually consider their position when this is pointed out to them although most just double down on their irrationality. I wonder what approach you will take.

The reality is that over the last 6 months the majority of patients ending up in ICU in the UK have never been vaccinated and that unvaccinated individuals are ending up in intensive care and dying of Covid at much higher rates than fully vaccinated. Adult Covid-19 admissions to intensive care units in England, Wales and Northern Ireland from May to November 2021 were largely of the totally unvaccinated with the percentage in ICU (Intensive Care Units) that were totally unvaccinated ranging from 73% to 49% throughout these months. (Source: Intensive Care National Audit Research Center, quarterly report December 2021) This is despite the fact that totally unvaccinated adults make up only a small percentage of the population. It is a pity that so much unnecessary pressure is being put on hospitals and their staff.

  14.  @WSmith_1984  Hi JD, thank you for your reply. It appears that we have different standards as to what constitutes evidence. I do not regard a YouTube video as scientific research. Also the research paper referred to in the video is a preprint and has not been peer reviewed. I have read over it and it seems to be dealing with a relatively small number of case numbers, 11 for a comparison to CDC data and with small case numbers can come high percentage errors. Studies have shown that there is a very small risk of Myocarditis following a Covid-19 vaccine but the risk of Myocarditis from Covid-19 infection is up to 16 times greater and of course Covid-19 brings many more problems with it as well. One can not draw conclusions from just one set of data without looking at the full overall research. Also the huge amount of evidence that unvaccinated have significantly much worse Covid-19 outcomes than vaccinated can not be ignored. Thanks & take care.

  18.  Cardinal Sin  Almost 6,000 million vaccine doses administrated and a tiny, tiny percentage of any serious adverse reactions. Compare that with 4.6 million deaths (at least) from Covid-19 from 219 million cases, which is 2.1% death rate overall. Not to mention the long term effects on people who get serious illness and survive.

Last month the 2 that were always on street corners shouting about that almost everyone survived covid both died of the virus themselves leaving kids behind after them.

  22.  @QANews  Also, you do realise, don't you that the Yellow Card Scheme and VAERS are not list of confirmed adverse reactions to vaccines. And it is not put up by "they" whoever "they" are! It is just suspicions that members of the public can submit without any proof or verification of any sort so that the public health bodies in the various countries can do more research into any suggestions. In the vast, vast majority of cases there is no link to any vaccine of any sort. Take care.

  23.  Mobbdeepak McMacaveli Shakoor  I draw you attention to the Public Health England website and the recently published document "Covid-19 Surveillance Report Week 36 ", What is really interesting in that in Table 5(b) is the comparison between unvaccinated and vaccinated cohorts for Covid-19 death rates per 100,000 of population. This shows that unvaccinated people in all age groups are far more likely to die of Covid-19 than unvaccinated. 18-29 = 4 times, 30-39 = 6.5 times, 40-49 = 6.3 times, 50-59 = 9.1 times, 60-69 = 6.7 times, 70-79 = 5.4 times & >80 = 3.2 times. Really sad to see so many unvaccinated deaths. Take care & stay safe.

It shows that overall deaths from Covid-19 in Sweden are 1477 per million of population which is well ahead of the comparable countries that surround it, Denmark (516), Finland (257) and Norway (212). I have also noted the high rate of deaths among the elderly in Sweden which is significantly higher than its Nordic Neighbours. Elderly Covid-19 deaths in Sweden per capita were over double those of Denmark and 8 times those of Finland. Also despite no lockdowns the Swedish economy faired no better than its neighbours. No more than a "holographic image" can display phases, have craters, have shadows in those craters, have a clear and obvious spherical shape in a telescope, eclipse the Sun, other stars and planets and have the ISS regularly photographed in front of it and have lasers regularly reflected off it. There are plenty of historical examples of viruses that become less dangerous over time such as the H1N1 influenza virus responsible for The Great Flu 1918-21, the swine flu virus a decade ago and a cold virus OC43 which is considered to be responsible for an epideictic in 1890 which killed over a million. Yes, vaccines work very well in preventing serious illness and deaths but the virus is breaking through some vaccine cover and there will be some vaccinated individuals who experience serious illness unfortunately. No such "list" of footballers exists and no such "figures" are available from FIFA or any other organisation. This "claim", like so many others, is entirely made up. I do appreciate, that you, as a hard-core conspiracy theorist has to swallow every piece of bs that comes your way. But please remember that this isn't the case for everybody. From your reply it seems that you have now moved on from making the totally unsubstantiated claim that "according to FIFA's own figures...108 footballers & coaches have died in last 6 months" (A claim that FIFA have never made nor have they released any figures to even suggest this) to now claiming that "we can now expect around 5 deaths a year" which is a little different you will have to admit! Also Dr. Joshua Guetzkow to whom you refer is not a medical doctor and according to the website of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, he has no qualifications of any sort in medicine or science nor is there any reference to any paper published by the BMJ in his list of research papers. Also a database search of the British Medical Journal shown up zero returns for papers published by any author of that name. Can you give me the exact title of the paper to which you refer as well as the Volume and exact date of publication and I will have a look at it. Take care.

A study published in The Lancet on Covid-19 deaths in Malaysia found that unvaccinated individuals had a mortality rate 43.2 times higher than people fully vaccinated.
