Yes, this has been doing the rounds in various forms, various numbers and from various people. In some versions it is a doctor that claims this, others have it as a politician and yet others say it is a midwife. As you can imagine, it is more conspiracy theory lies and misinformation. There is no basis whatsoever to this claim and there is plenty of research evidence which shows it as a lie. The sad reality is that there is also plenty of evidence from several countries that shows that the risk of stillbirth is twice average and risk of death is up to 5 times greater for pregnant women who get infected by the SARS-Cov-2 virus, So in reality the people who are spreading this misinformation may well be actively contributing to Covid-19 deaths.
