"Finally real science and common sense rising" Hi John, that comment seems to suggest that you are engaging in confirmation bias. Accepting any evidence that agrees with a predetermined opinion and rejecting research that does not agree with it. What do you think?

@angrybrit7331 Hi ab, thanks for reply. Perhaps, but confirmation bias and cherry-picking are both very common habits among conspiracy theorists, reality deniers and misinformation spreaders, (Present company excepted, of course) and I merely wish to highlight that fact. Take care.

@therange4033 Hi TR, thank you for your reply. It is estimated that there are about half a million people in the UK that have severely weakened immune systems and this cohort are at much higher risk of developing serious illness from Covid-19. Studies show that many in this cohort do not produce a sufficient immune response after two doses of vaccine but a number of recent small scale studies cited by the CDC in the US show that in vaccinated patients who had no detectable antibody response "up to 50%" developed an antibody response after receiving an additional dose of an mRNA vaccine. In short, they will have better protection. Your stated opinion was that "nobody under the age of 100 should get the vaccine" and I honestly do not think that that is an evidence based opinion. That is why I disagree with it. Take care.

Cardinal Sin Almost 6,000 million vaccine doses administrated and a tiny, tiny percentage of any serious adverse reactions. Compare that with 4.6 million deaths (at least) from Covid-19 from 219 million cases, which is 2.1% death rate overall. Not to mention the long term effects on people who get serious illness and survive.

@joepaul4471 Hi Joe, thanks for your comment. There is quite a lot of misinformation in these comments sections. I would see myself as more pro-facts and pro-evidence based decision making in public health matters more so than pro-vaccine. Take care.
