Then when all the objectives of the Apollo Program were achieved and when funding to NASA went from 4.5% of US federal spending down to less than 0.5%, dozens of unmanned missions were carried out as these are cheaper, safer, longer and can generate more and different types of data. The question that you need to ask yourself is do you really think that your personal incredulity and lack of knowledge is a substitute for actual evidence? Take care.

The question that was asked in the Apollo 11 post-flight press conference by British astronomer Patrick Moore was "could you actually see the stars in the Solar Corona in spite of the glare" and it was this question that Collins replied to.   18.  @Luvothrsmor22  The main thermal challenge for a spacecraft passing through the Van Allen Belts would be to retain heat as heat lost due to radiation would be far greater than the miniscule amount of heat gained by thermal collisions. "Anyone can assume radiation would cause severe heat", nope, it would depend on the type and intensity of the radiation. Ever thought of actually studying some Physics so you might actually be able to understand things? Take care.
