  3.  @markymarco2570  It is a composite image made up from many satellite photographs with the aim to show the distribution of lighting throughout the planet. Obviously they will choose photographs with the least amount of cloud cover for this task. How difficult is this to understand? Take care.

  5.  @markymarco2570  nope, that is not an accurate statement. It is montage of several photographs joined together. It is physically impossible to take a single photograph of all the Earths surface for very obvious reasons. Take care.
