Jesse is only trying this case in the court of public opinion. He knows it's what the MAGA's want to hear. The entire Republican party has tailored their message to placate the trailer park dwelling, Natty Light drinking, monster truck driving knuckle draggers. That's the only people they care about.

@erisgh0sted961 - Probably doesn't cut it in a court of law. He was allowed to lie about it (he did). No laws were broken though.

@bongodave13 - Exactly. They are focused on this protected free speech argument....while completely ignoring the fake electors. Jack Smith anticipated this would be their BS argument. That's why he led off the indictment by saying Trump could SAY whatever he wanted.
