Douglas Hagedorn - We won't make it to the next election this way. This is serving up 2022 midterms to the GOP on a platter. This went as bad as it possibly could have. Weak democrats just couldn't find the balls to get Manchin and Sinema in line? Really? Why weren't they made an offer they couldn't refuse?

@johnpannell4045 - 100% truth. We had our shot and we blew it. This will never get better. If the GOP ever regains power.....U.S. elections will be in the rear view mirror. Guaranteed.

Edward Jones II - It's not gonna help the Democrats in the mid terms. It's too watered down. Plus, add that to all the other broken promises like $2,000 stimulus checks, prosecuting Trump, $15 minimum wage, etc. and it's a win for the GOP. I'm feeling very heavy and doomer right now. Dems turned out to be the weaklings we all know they were. We had the chance and we blew it.

@user-tn7xo7ky9o - Exactly. Big pharma is going to make up the cost somehow. It would actually be better for the whole if this wasn't in the bill. The whole thing just pisses me off. We had the chance and we blew it. People vote with their emotions and not their wallet. That's why the GOP "boogeyman" strategy is so successful. The 6 trillion dollar bill would've changed all that. We are handing the country over to the fascists. I guess Dems don't give a shit about the U.S. either.
