@based_yeoman9138 - Nothing to do with the world wide inflation happening. It's literally worldwide, and not just happening with fuel.

@Everysingletimeowitz - What point? It's worldwide inflation, and it's not just fuel. Wouldn't matter if it was Biden, Trump or Axl Rose as POTUS. Shit would still be the same. I know facts are an inconvenience for you people, but deal with it. Again.....what point?
3
@Everysingletimeowitz - Hey, at least you're supremely confident in your staggering willful ignorance. So.....ya got that goin' for ya.
2
@based_yeoman9138 - Well..... interest rates are rising. How much that affects anything i don't know. Everything kinda hinges on what happens in Ukraine as far as world economics right now. In the U.S. we like to think that the world revolves around us. I would say China is driving the world economy now.....not the U.S., but i don't have a degree in economics. I'm just a guy in his 50's that's seen a whole bunch of these cycles before.
2
@based_yeoman9138 - You as well.

JD Knight - We're Americans.....you think we (i mean the MAGA's not us) understand that any country exists outside of the U.S.? All we do is piss and moan about how we're the "victims". The sense of entitlement in the U.S. (especially from the right) is nauseating.

@MikeHart72 - Can i ask where "here" is?
1
@Everysingletimeowitz - Prove to me that would actually make ANY difference in price. No....i'm serious.....show me the proof that would do anything or STFU. Your claim, therefore the burden of proof is on you.
1
@Lilo-A - Nope. Conservatives, facts, logic, and critical thinking are not the best or friends.
1
@MikeHart72 - I see. I figured it might be Canada. $7 is steep for the U.S. (so far). That brings me to my next point. You guys and most of the rest of the world pay consistently higher gas prices, yet us Americans will whine when it gets to $3.00 a gallon. Sometimes i really wonder if we're worth saving. Thanks for the info. You have a pleasant evening.
1
@based_yeoman9138 - Some factor...yes. However, what drove this right now is the supply chain issues that arose from a 2+ year long pandemic. Businesses knew people needed goods, and raised prices through infinity. Remember, inflation is cause by low supply, and high demand. You're trying to make it more complicated than it is. Why on the morning Biden announces we're not buying from Russia does gas at the pump go up $1? There is no way that should have an effect until weeks or months down the line, as the gas at the pump has already been refined weeks ago. Oil companies are greedy pricks that gouge customers simply because they can.
1
@Everysingletimeowitz - Well....if it's not gonna lower prices than why do it? You then lost out on the money you made from exporting. Sigh.......i'm done.
1
@MikeHart72 - Interesting. I'm in Wisconsin our prices are always a little higher because of our higher taxes. Starting with us and moving north is the "salt belt". You certainly know what that does to the roads, so like you i don't mind paying for that. I had no idea you had government regulated gas prices. I'm also jealous of your UHC. Even with insurance here you'll go broke paying your medical bills. I'm trying to imagine a government that actually helps the citizens instead of themselves. Seems like a pipe dream to us Americans.
1
@MikeHart72 - Look.....i been wanting to move there for years. That's taken on greater urgency for me as i see that if the Republicans ever take back the White House the U.S. will become an authoritarian fascist police state nightmare. I've been wanting to get out while we're still allowed to leave. I'm divorced and the kids are grown. There's nothing holding me here. I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed talking with you. Best to you and yours my man.
1
@MikeHart72 - Like i said. I'd love to move up there. I'm a golf course superintendent so i'm doing ok, and i'm at least working in the field my degree is in.
1
@luchicholito - You've proven in the past you're a right wing apologist. Nobody actually cares what your opinion is.
1
Zpla;8251 - There are currently over 9,000 unused approved drilling permits. You need to ask the oil companies why THEY are not drilling on the already approved permits. Opening up more permits will solve nothing.
1
@ZMtnShadows - No....it's not that simple. The oil companies ASKED for those permits. I'm not playing this Biden is responsible for high gas prices bullshit game with you. It's WORLDWIDE, and it's not just fuel that's more expensive. I'm not happy with Biden, but this simply is trying to smear him because you guys have nothing else.
