@candeegallagher560 - Good Point. I meant numerous members of their own family dying. For the "pro-life" Christians on the right to actually care about people it has to effect them personally in a big way or they claim it doesn't exist (pick any subject). It's almost like there is massive cognitive dissonance on the right (sarcasm). You were right to question me. I didn't make it very clear at first. Thanks.

@jakemccluremd - OMG. I'm in Wisconsin so i know that SD never mandated anything. I also just saw DeSantis has dug in further and is now threatening to not only withhold district funding, but also now salaries of any school official who defies his no mask mandate....and the GOP loves small government? Huh? So, now we have the GOP trying to climb over each other to show the base who's been more batshit........this can't end well. I'm vaxxed, and honestly, i wouldn't care if the entire right went away, but the unvaxxed are letting this mutate, and if it gets past Lambda i think we're ALL back to square one. Nightmare scenario.

Jake McClure - Logic would tell you that would be the case.....but i'm guessing he's being called a R.I.N.O. by the MAGA's as we speak. Probably MTG, Trump and McCarthy as well. I fear it will take a COVID catastrophe to get through to the unvaxxed. Even that might not do it.

B Huevo - Here in Wisconsin we have a firmly democratic governor....but the majority of the Sate Legislature are Republicans that make 4 year olds look mature and well behaved. They only exist to cause chaos and strike down ANYTHING that would help any people. Pretty much a smaller version of DC. The one thing i will say is that it was our Republican dominated State Supreme Court that threw out all of Trump's election lawsuits. That was a pleasant surprise.

Ross - Difference is Cassidy is a doctor. He understands the medical part. What Farron didn't get to play was the part where Cassidy said "what does does Florida do when there's another major accident (i assume condo collapse, mass shooting, etc) and your hospital is full of COVID patients? There will be elective surgeries that will have to stop as well because all staff will be COVID staff."

JezzaPearl USA - He should.....but for the last 18 months the "pro-life" party has shown it's real colors. They do NOT care about life unless it's them personally affected. It's not Ron DeSantis's own kids so he doesn't care. It's mind boggling.
