  5.  @jaarneal  i think thats because, at its core, the ideology of hamas, and to an extent other countries surrounding israel, is the source of the problem. thats not to say israel has been blameless- sam has pointed this out. benny morris has been critical of israels action in the west bank. but whatever flaws israel has are dwarfed by the intentions and beliefs of its neighbors.

  11. wow. thats well put. thank you. very much like the 'asymmetry of information tristan harris talks about. two different realities depending on what information you are consuming. i think that must explain sams divergence with his former idw fiends as it relates to covid/the vaccines and trump.

  12.  @perliljenberg3094  the problem is when the experts are corrupted which is what those who used to agree with sam have been saying, specifically the democratic party (as it relates to his falling out with these people over politics/trump) and big pharma (as it relates to covid and the vaccines which sam also disagrees with virtually all of his former IDW friends). they have all either lost their minds, or sam is missing something. why the chasm over these two issues? maybe three if we put russiagate in there though its part of trump. i believe i get to the truth by hearing arguments from both sides of an issue. with covid and the vaccines, i listen to what john campbell of jay battacharya or vinay prasad say in response to fauci and collins for example. "he who knows only his side of the issue knows little of that". seems to work for me
