sorry, vance has done nothing wrong. i joined the marine corps reserves out of high school. active duty is much more of a sacrifice. after a few years, reserves gets much easier as you attain rank. 20 years in the reserves is not difficult. nowhere near as tough as active. although i was activated and did serve 'in war'. also vance has not misrepresented his service. walz has on multiple levels.

@ludovicasaintpatrick theres way more.

@ludovicasaintpatrick i cant post links on youtube but i can point you in the right direction. i'll post in short posts because youtube has an itchy delete finger these days. sergeant major doug julin, cnn interview from a few days ago. he was his superior. he goes over the timeline of how he retired and when he knew he was likely to activate.
2
@ludovicasaintpatrick the dui story where he (or his spokesperson) claims he wasnt drinking just appeared today on cnn even though its a week old. props to them for covering it, as they did the sergeant major julin story.

@ludovicasaintpatrick walz has also been called out by sergeant major behrens who took his place in deployment. thats two of the highest ranking soldiers in the minnesota national guard along with behrens who have been openly critical of his service or representation of his rank. thats highly unusual for someone of walzs rank and tenure.
2
according to walzs former senior, sergeant major doug julin, walz was told in fall 04 they were likely to mobilize and was asked if he was in to which he replied yes. he was asked again after he filed the political paperwork to run, and he again said yes. after that, he retired without talking to julin. also according to the 2005 press release that seems to be missing from most of the mainstream medias sites, walz said then he knew he was likely to deploy and said he was going to serve if called. also, his misrepresentation of rank, carrying weapons in war, and his false characterization of his DUI stop.
2
as noted, you re information is incorrect. he knew. and hes been lying about his service.

@bullonu what research did he not do?
1
@ludovicasaintpatrick ludo? did you find the stories?

@ludovicasaintpatrick i will take issue with anyone who dodges military service dishonestly. i'm not an R or a D. so far as trump i have no idea if his bone spurs were legitimate. the problem with walz is there is now a pattern of misrepresentation. the rank isnt really that murky. his former commanding officer is adamant that he has misrepresented his rank- that is very rare to be called out publicly by such a person. hes also been called out by another senior commanding officer as well as SM Behrens who took his place. one problem that exists that rivals Walz misrepresentations is a media that doesnt tell you the full story, which is why you didnt know these things. they are actively lying to you. bidens never been better. the patop is disinfo. Trump is working with the russians. yet the public keeps trusting these same outlets that lie to us. as a marine corps vet who did see combat (as a reservist who was called up no less) you dont do what walz has done, whether its retiring after being notified of a call up or misrepresenting your rank, which he has in fact done. hes also lied about his DUI. this is a pattern, and the media is lying. thank you for responding.

@ludovicasaintpatrick ok i think my response got deleted but i'm not sure why. let me split it up and we'll see what gets through.
1
@ludovicasaintpatrick walz misrepresentation of his rank is not murky, as a Marine Corps vet, and according to his own superiors who have criticized him for this very thing, he has continually misrepresented his rank.
1
@ludovicasaintpatrick he has also lied about his DUI
1
@ludovicasaintpatrick he did indeed file political and then retirement papers after being notified of his likely deployment.
1
@ludovicasaintpatrick this would not be that bad except his commanding officer said he told him he would indeed deploy
1
@ludovicasaintpatrick the main problem is the media. why can we not get all of this information in one spot so we can form our opinions based on all of the available information
1
@ludovicasaintpatrick remember who was right about past stories and who was wrong. there are few news sites that are both reliable and unbiased. how would you rate the ones where you have been getting your information on walz if you are being honest? (i think you are btw, i'm just asking for your honest opinion)
1
sorry, he lied. hes also lied about his rank and has done so continually. he also knew he was likely to deploy and quit. look at the cnn sergeant major doug julin interview and the 2005 press release confirming this. as well as Lieutenant Colonel Kolbs comments. hes also lied about his DUI, also on CNN of all places.
1
you dont think the media covers trumps lies? trumps lied, bidens lied, harris has lied, walz has lied. better?
