@iliffavenuebrewhouse6496 you are the equivalent of a flat earther on this topic. i've presented to you facts upon which my opinion is formed, and rather than dispute any facts or add context, you just say you dont agree. in other words, you dont accept reality. this is further demonstrated by you making up new definitions to existing words, such as genocide. you dont get to make up definitions. the US werent committing genocide in germany in 1944 because they unalived more germans than vice versa. id suggest reading some benny morris or sam harris on this topic since you lack a factual foundation upon which you can properly analyze the dispute.

Isarel forcibly pulled every israeli out of gaza in 05 in a land for pece effort, similar to sainai (egpyt didnt want gaza back, btw) the palestinians were left to hold election and elected a group that has in its charter the obliteration of the country that just gave them the land, along with an edict calling for the unaliving of the Js in a very specific way and from a very specific source. Hams then launched 6000 rockets into israel. so israel blockaded them.

@iliffavenuebrewhouse6496 1- i never said otherwise. 2- hamas was elected with a charter that calls for the 'obliteration' of israel. do look up the charter and see what the 'rocks and trees' say, then look up the origin of that phrase. 3- israel pulled every one of their people forcibly from gaza in 05. the palestinians were free to hold elections, which they did. they elected people who explicitly say they want the Js unalive. they then tried to accomplish that by launching 6000 rockets into israel. israel then blockaded gaza. that is why gaza is an 'open air prison' 4- no need for name calling.

@user-sp8eb6iz7f 1- who said otherwise? 2- why are you changing the subject? is it your assertion that one belief system is bad, but so is another? how is that an argument, particularly when i never defended the other belief system? 3- what do the rocks and trees say in the charter of hamas?

@iliffavenuebrewhouse6496 i'm not trying to win. i'm not debating. i'm doing epistemology and dialectic, which is about what is true. if it is true that israel pulled every jewish peson out of gaza in 05, and that the palestinians were free to hold elections, then voted in a group that claims an ideological/ religious duty to wipe out the jewish people, then launched thousands of rockets into israel which caused israel to blockade gaza out of self preservation, then that is very different from israel blockading gaza because they had nothing better to do that day. the first situation is clear self defense from a fringe ideology. the second is not.
