In 1991, the Russian army withdrew from Eastern Europe according to the deal between Gorbachev and Reagan, according to which Russia allowed the unification of Germany with the deal no NATO in the countries from which the Russian army withdrew. If the argument is that it was not a written agreement or that the West won the cold war, now the West will have to prove that victory in the hot war if it does not already want a written agreement with Russia. Hollande and Merkel said everything about the peace agreement from Minsk in 2015. If you deny everything, the facts speak for themselves.

Yes, but war in itself is not a rational state. Higher goals in both wars and revolutions are irrational. Logic and rationalization work to some extent, not more, and are often harmful. Higher guidance systems are needed to surpass logic and rationalization.

@martinskovpoulsen2736 Maybe I didn't explain well enough, and maybe you didn't understand well. It is a fact that the Russian army withdrew from Eastern European countries. And now that no agreement existed is your impression, but you ask the French and other Europeans who, under the leadership of Napoleon, were in Moscow and were later escorted to Paris, then ask the Germans and other Europeans who, under the leadership of Hitler, came to Stalingrad and were escorted away back to Berlin, where they have evidence that they were in Russia. I have no evidence, and neither do the Russians. If you want evidence, you no longer have to go to Russia to get it, you will find it in Ukraine . . . let me know when you find it . . . good luck . . . :)

The Russians will launch an offensive when they judge that it is good for them. Ukraine and NATO cannot influence that unless NATO carries out an open invasion of Ukraine, Kaliningrad or Transnistria. The Russians do not announce anything, and all speculations serve to fill the media space in the absence of good news for Ukraine. The main question is where the offensive will be launched, which again depends on the deployment of Ukrainian forces on the battlefield. This was also the case with the launch of the Special Military Operation 2022, when the Russians entered Ukraine from several directions except from the Donbass, where the largest Ukrainian forces were concentrated. If the Russians had gone to Donbas with all their forces in 2022, there would have been many more casualties on both sides among soldiers and civilians from Donetsk. The same thing would have happened if the Russians had allowed the Ukrainians to go first in liberating Crimea and Donbass. The Russians will also assess for themselves whether the time works for them with this engagement of military personnel and equipment. Until then, we will watch and hear about Ukraine's various attacks on Russia and plans to demolish the Kerch bridge, which is mainly for use within the West. Regardless of everything, it would be interesting to see if this year's Russian offensive fares better in the bookies than last year's Ukrainian offensive . . . :)

@martinskovpoulsen2736 As for the Eastern European countries, they are not willing to go to war with Russia to defend "freedom and democracy" and therein lies the problem. Unfortunately, no one told them that together with Joe Biden, they would need to "weaken Russia". It's obviously a small misunderstanding. And the Anglo-Saxons are not very willing to go to Ukraine either. International law has disappeared in the numerous invasions of the past three decades. As I wrote to you, I can't do anything here and I'm not going to war for anyone, and if you think that international law still exists, feel free to go to Ukraine and implement that law of yours.

@LRRPFco52 We see that Ukraine is ceased to exist since coup d'etat in 2014. President is unconstitutionaly changed. Illegal and illegitimate. That was failure of the West policy to break law of the Ukraine. No one would accept that another country organizes a coup d'état and installs its own people in his country. There is no legal entity in Ukraine now. Last chances to recognize Ukraine by Russia disappeared with broken Minsk agreement and by trying to reach a peace agreement in Istanbul. Ukraine as it was is over. I do not know what is going to happen I mean is NATO going to full scale war in Ukraine to conqeuer a part of it.

@martin-cheers Perhaps you missed that in 2014 were coup d'etat in Ukraine organized by leading NATO country United States of America. There were unconstitutional owerthrown of president in 2014 and Ukraine as state ceased to exist. So now there lot of arguments from all sides but reallity is that Ukraine is battlefield of NATO and Rusia.
