i've said it before and i'll say it again, ignorance and apathy are our biggest enemies. people distracted by their next paycheck, purchase, class, test, episode, etc. there's always something. when you walk outside your door do you think about all this, no. you think about your own little details. that's the problem. we're divided by our own goals while we work for the goals of those that keep us divided. fill up your tank, drive to work, work half your day to fund the wars, and come home and drink and take some rad pharmaceuticals to feel alright with it. that's ignorance. apathy on the other hand is: hey man, i have a family and i just want to give my kids the life i never had so i don't want to hear about it. meanwhile all your kids really want is to see you and for you not to be gone 10 hours a day leaving them jailed in a "daycare."

that's gold right there. Knowledge truly is power! That's why it's not in their best interest to do so- but IT IS in ours. Now imagine if we taught the truth in schools to prepare youth for the change in tide. The power structure in the world would shift back to the people I guarantee it. Government must truly be by the people (as opposed to the corporations or corporate bodies) and for the people (as opposed to the corporations or corporate bodies) or you get what we have today, which in my opinion is a governing body of psychopathic pirates and thieves. It's no secret that almost all facets of industry and life from Agriculture to Banking to Construction to Healthcare to Education Military to Politics has been long highjacked by some nameless psycho's controlling the reigns of their puppets as they parade around as innocent helpers.

I'm watching that Griff interview right now... more than half way in... it's good shit. He touches on some delicate stuff with the Popes thing, but only very quickly you can tell he doesn't want to get into it. People that "don't believe in all that God stuff" are without vital life giving knowledge. There are many solutions to many problems. This is a battle on many fronts of a war that's been being fought for a long time. A personal solution would be to pick a side or do as Buddha and take the middle path, but the real battles are spiritual.

this is a great convo. nice link too @I AM WHAT I AM. With quotes online anywhere from $30,000 to $40,000 to $50K PLUS! PER INMATE! per year, someone's making a f!@#ng killing and I'm pretty sure it's just like it is in the school system- the upper level administrators and board members get fat paychecks and all the ground soldiers doing most of the work get paid anywhere from alright staff wages, to straight slavery prison wages. We're talking 10's of millions $ per year at the least for the smallest jail (1000 inmates x 30 or 40 thousand each is 30 or 40 million!), with wages for the prison guards coincidentally being only 30 or 40 thousand a year as well. Most of the profits go to the fewest amount of people. The owners get the lions share. That's why telephone calls are dollars a minute, and inmate wages are spare change. Funny thing is the most state governments work exactly the same way- with our taxes paying for it all. Robbery. Straight. Fucking. Robbery.

+Adam Bolden I've been working since I was 14 and a half. I moved out of my parents house as soon as I could and I struggle still to make rent and still be able to afford going out. But I'm doing it, and it's getting better. Not easier, but better.

don't think about money or paying for your own stuff or anything like that. if you are lucky enough to not have to work a job for a paycheck, work a job for some personal development. even a couple days a week, or a couple hours a day. you never know what kind of untapped potential you might have. but maybe I'm getting ahead of myself and you do have a hobby or a trade or an art or a passion, or some talent/skill you could develop into mastery- something that you're building, a story you're writing, a passion you're pursuing. dude, go stand on a busy street corner and mime with your hat on the ground upside down, and buy yourself some seeds; plant a garden; and reap the harvest.

maybe, but there are a lot of heads of snake inside some of the most violent prisons... that's actually where orders are usually given from for jobs that usually get carried out in public. power moves. cartel and mafioso shit. i can't really picture any of the white supremacist's or black gangs uniting but if they united with the latino power structure that right there could be a scary little partnership. kinda like what you see on the black market between south america and the us with coke and arms i guess, but that's just business and underhanded dealing... what if it was for the purposes of a real revolution (which i am not trying to incite but no means 5th amendment.

man is part animal. it will usually remain calm and docile even amongst the harshest of impoverished conditions until it is hungry. it is only once the masses are not fed will they react. not being able to provide shelter for ones self or others isn't even motivating of a factor for man to resist aggressively- look at LA, Detroit, NY slums and shelters.
