  1. In a couple weeks I'll be watching a German in Venice video and they'll all be back after their hotel parties are over. There's no quick solution for apathy and depression and mental illness and addiction. If you're gonna give them hotel vouchers for long enough to stage a press video/photo op, you might as well give them clean syringes and torch lighters for the weekend.

  2. This is how they justify the huge funding they get to "solve" the problem. It goes like this: Community complains. Politician steps up, asks for __ dollars. Politician accepts money.Take picture of street before. Take picture of street afterwards. Spending justified. Good job, call the press, take the photo op and enjoy your new cars and houses and lavish vacations at the Island suite.

  3.  @raylo9726  sometimes i prefer to give certain things directly to the homeless, other times i give them to goodwill, where they hire and help members of the community.
