  3.  @shannonroberts5080 UNSC action was sought. Unsurprisingly vetoed by the Russofascists. Russia shouldn't even BE part of the UNSC, as that seat belonged to the USSR, not just Russia.

  4. Intentionally targeting a dam IS a war crime. Article 53. Why would hitting oil REFINERIES affect the price of crude oil? Russia's ability to export REFINED oil products has been virtually eliminated, so the effect on diesel & petroleum products will be minimal, especially as Russia imposed a 6 month ban on exporting gasoline due to a domestic shortage.

  6. Thing is, US oil companies hate cheap oil, as it makes domestic oil production economically unviable.

  8.  @jelink22 You really don't know what you're talking about. They can only add new wells when it's economically viable to drill them & extract the oil. This was not the case between 1979 & 2004 & the US oil industry was panicking in 2016 when there was a sharp but temporary fall. Educate your self before you pontificate.

  9.  @196Stefan2 You're looking in the wrong place. What we buy are industrial tools & processing equipment, aircraft, jet engines, chemicals, radars, measuring equipment. As for firearms; three of mine are Danish, one Czech, two Italian, two German & a pair of English. Much nicer than the US offerings...

  10.  @JackRowsey  Nobody is saying don't buy American weapons.What they're saying is Europe has to become self reliant regarding actual defence, as in boots on the ground, materiel assets commensurate with the perceived threat, etc. The US defence sector actually employs more than 1.2 million directly & almost as many again in businesses servicing those workers.
