@skipperg4436 The king here in the UK can theoretically block laws from being passed but if it ever really mattered, I reckon the politicians pushing through some utterly bad law would see he had an 'accident'. That's why successive UK governments have largely disarmed UK citizens.

@1justme The kind of government which wishes to pass repressive laws is the same kind which 'removes' those opposing it... Putin's regime isn't the only one of that type in 2023.

The more I see of Russia's uncivilised behaviour, the more I despise not only the Putin regime but the people themselves, as they clearly SUPPORT the ongoing savagery.
