The answer here is to adopt a new system altogether. Sure, humans are capable of greed, but that's only a fraction of what humans are capable of. Just because humans are capable doesn't mean that we should design a whole system around the concept of greed and actively encourage and put said greed over everything. Imagine a system that instead of encouraging greed, encourages empathy, cooperation, you know, systems that humans have thrived on for many many years? Greed should be a thing that's actively held in low regard and punished, not seen as the "nature of humans" and put on a pedestal made out of gold. A system that's between Capitalism and whatever else cannot work because Capitalism itself does not work, as we've seen so far, and no amounts of regulations will make it work when the system itself is actively sabotaging itself. We can do better than this

@physixtential Well that's kind of by design. Who's gonna behave better, somebody that has all their needs met and no worries or somebody that is in a constant state of survival mode and burnt out? The thing that makes most human beings "bad" or "worse" is capitalism to begin with
