  1.  @semansco  Yeah I understand that it's pretty typical for the average Japanese person to not want to go through the trouble of defending a person that is getting bullied because they are bent on avoiding conflict at all cost or at least as much as possible since they aren't the ones getting bullied and can't relate to the bullied person to try and help (or just "It's not my problem" but of course there's always exceptions) while typical Non-Japanese people (and I'm not talking about every single person) have a higher sense of "justice" where they are actually willing to put themselves through that trouble to defend the bullied person. Just as anything else that "Avoid conflict at all cost" mentality has it's pros and cons

And here is the "I'll have to wait and see" mentality They are thinking about their child and not wanting for them to go through bullying which is good and all but they're ignorant to the fact that it's gotta be one if it's not their child then it's gonna be somebody else's. People won't just one day be like "Oh actually same gender parents are ok now let's legalize it why the hell not" It's like you're fighting a war that you wanna win but you don't wanna make the necessary sacrifices and in the end you will loose except that somebody else is gonna eventually make that sacrifice. You'd actually think thinking about your child at this point would be selfless but really it's selfish you just don't want to be the one that pays for the rest but at the same time it's understandable since it's human nature. You'd either have to not care about your child as much as others do or eventually be forced to make the sacrifice
