@indiandaeng That's the point of human evolution, things are supposed to be easier for future generations, not like the de-evolution we're seeing today, where things are much harder for younger people than in past decades

Nobody better touch my fairy tale books 😤😤
54
A decent human being, a true rarity indeed
43
I love how everything just magically sticks to the cat's paws Ah gotta love living in a fairy tale
32
@mandeayamajeed1043 You know what else is selfish? Bringing children AKA a "retirement plan" into this world
18
@ChinoyCommunity What does Japan descending from China have to do with their disaster handling system?
18
@ChinoyCommunity You're saying this in a public space lol, everything here is my business if I want it to be
15
@batwithfire484 Well bringing a child into the world is a choice; getting brought into it isn't. You can't necessarily expect your child to take care of you, that's like expecting or thinking you're entitled to a donation, which is exactly what this is. The child won't necessarily be thankful or care enough, I guess it's a little selfish if the parents tried their best but at the end of the day it can't possibly be the child's obligation as they didn't have a say in the matter, it's a donation of care and/or financial support
13
@yt_7777 Are they trying to insinuate that they did their child some kind of "favor" by dragging them into this world? Smh
12
This is the way. Well, escalation is, to be accurate
11
@anuragchakraborty8766 It is if you think even 20 seconds about it. If the rich own 95% of the world's wealth then the rest will starve, due to not having enough money to afford basic necessities. The rich won't let go of the money, so then there's two choices: either steal or make the government print more money... more money printed = more inflation = money losing it's value due to the finite goods and resources that would be traded for said money. Hording money is basically the same thing as hoarding food, or clothes or whatever, so that nobody else can use it
10
I absolutely cannot believe that this is an ongoing event. This and Ukraine, as well as similar situations in the not-so-distant past. If these happened a few centuries ago then sure, but now? Unacceptable

@shukriramlee I just wonder how much longer are people going to keep relying on this crutch placebo effect. It's genuinely bewildering how this has been used as a way for ancient human races to explain things beyond their scope of comprehension and it's still somehow going strong even today. I genuinely can't tell if people still haven't moved past the stone age or if they're outright brainwashed
7
And burned them as well so we could eat them lol
7
@yt_7777 I wonder where from any of my comments you got that idea
7
@yt_7777 I've made 3 comments, 1 targeted at you. "Dragging? So you approve of killing a life?" and in neither of those 3 comments did I even mention anything like that, hence why I was wondering where you got the idea from, though you clearly replied to my comment about "Dragging", or "Fragging" before you edited it
7
No, it means that you're free to eat as much as you'd like, as long as there's food left. That is literally the purpose of this type of restaurant
6
But without the internet, alcohol or smokes? Most people need at least one of these at all times in order to not go crazy
5
Just normal Ohio things
5
Thank you unrestricted capitalism 🙏. A few more decades and we'll successfully exchange the planet for money lol
4
@empy6909 Yeah but even the best parents can still fail. It's all up to the individual
4
@david010a5 Officially, one is able to retire upon reaching 62 years (or well, used to), now it's 64 years instead
4
@SivaSiva-oc3jf If anything, it's probably the employer's fault for being understaffed, so no issue there
3
At that point you're at the edge of not just living, but barely even existing
3
@bdasaw The ones that provide the services are the people, while they own the services, big difference. It definitely wasn't handed to them for free, stealing from others is hard work. There is not a single conceivable reason to have ultra-rich people when those resources could go to hands that would make much better use of it than hoard it and/or use it to lobby and to inflate prices for fun
3
Hopefully when the CEOs go self destruct they don't bring any victims with themselves 🙏
3
@sowhat1674 I agree. I'm looking after my 3 year old brother with an 18 years difference and it's absolutely miserable
3
@empy6909 You'd be surprised actually. Also your 2 other points aren't guaranteed either, it's all chance
3
Imagine going to a normal restaurant, ordering a feast (paid in full) and then you get shamed for eating too much lol. They paid for the food (as per the rules of the establishment), they didn't waste/take home any of it and they weren't asked to leave. Even if they knew about the 2 hour rule but stayed anyway, more than 90% of the blame lies with the employer for being understaffed...
3
FBI: This man is too smart to be left alive
3
@smwk2017 r/woosh ?
3
But muh trip to the Titanic 😭
2
@stockyork8002 You heard me
2
It's basically The Devil is a Part-timer but darker and without the powers
2
@FrancisP Shhhhh, you aren't supposed to know that.... Repeat after me: Actually nevermind, it must be because of the feminists or the immigrants, our overlords cannot sin
2
Not like they'll just ignore them even if they protest peacefully anyway
2
Yeah man, the worldwide economy is going absolutely haywire, impossible to get a job, ridiculous costs of living and people that fight each other for bread crumbs while the top 1% enjoy their luxury... all signs of an impending societal meltdown
2
@cloudyskies5569 Ideally rich people shouldn't exist. That level of luxury serves nobody except a few people at the cost of thousands
1
@cloudyskies5569 Dude look back in history when people didn't do everything for money. You work hard for yourself and for everybody else, not for money
1
Protectors of the people -> protectors of the oligarchy
1
@kaister901 Basically yes
1
@dallasyap3064 In a world where corruption isn't a thing maybe
1
@dinuxplay8003 "Just find another boss" = "just get lucky lol"
1
@dinuxplay8003 so we basically go back to "just get lucky lol"
1
Humanity is finally going the right way again
1
Bro Ohio comments are the best thing about this comment section
1
@xarve A year isn't even that much for a joke, plus I rarely ever see people use it so it's still funny to me, especially used in here, totally breaking the taboo of talking about anything but sending prayers to people or speculating what really happened
1
Meanwhile I've always hated studying, even for subjects I was interested in, plus experiencing things is more interesting than only reading about them in books
1
Jesus education is so overrated nowadays
1
@awkwardniqaabi Why would I need to read it myself when there are already people that read that stuff and confirmed as much?
