I kind of feel like you're barking up the wrong tree a bit. Robots aren't at fault here. Like imagine if one day somebody on the street stabbed you with a knife and then instead of blaming the criminal you blame the knife. If only the knife wasn't invented, you wouldn't get stabbed. Robots and AI are nothing more than a tool, however there are real bad actors who control these tools and aim to do as much harm as possible, also knows as companies and billionaires. Even if all research on robots and AI was reversed back to 0 tomorrow, it still wouldn't change that much in the grand scheme of things
