  1. 7:44 I feel like this guy might be onto something to be honest. I don't know much, but 99% of what I know I learned through anime, then after watching some actual spoken Japanese you're kind of able to adjust it to sound more realistic. I actually like how he explained it, both actual and anime Japanese are like some kind of dish, the exact same one but the anime one has some extra spice on top, so if you just scoop the spice off then it's gonna be more or less the same. I'm no professional or anything but this has been my experience so far, though I suppose I can't really say much since I've never had an actual conversation in Japanese, only input and practice
