@jewellui Directly participating in a war is stressful. Being a worker in the industrial age was stressful because of the long hours and hard work, but at least you knew that at the end of your shift you're coming back to a warm house, a stay at home mother and a bunch of kids, not to a flat that barely has any running water, no other people and only a bunch of bills stacked in the "can't pay" pile. Aside from this, being a slave or living under exceptional conditions like a plague can be stressful, but other than the examples I mentioned, we more or less have it the worst. There are very few points in human history where people have experienced as much stress as the modern man does today

 @VOLightPortal We should also work less because that's easily the number one biggest stressor of modern day life. Like everything else pales in comparison
